Update 4


Spawns: all areas for the enemies to spawn in are implemented. Still working on the animations for them spawning in, taking longer than anticipated. The enemies will re-spawn if you walk in and out of a room. I get feedback on this current setting to see if others like it/dislike it. 
As seen in an early week short devlog, I had an issue where the enemies repeatedly spawned in endlessly. A sort of accidental fix where i moved the codes spawn method around in its code. regardless, fixed so enemies will only spawn when the player walks into the area they can spawn in. 

UI: the unit checkpoint was U. Health bar now has a border around it to look a little nicer. Score UI is very basic/minimalist. I think its nice and fitting in the relation to how the art style of the game is also quite basic. A few glitches were happening with the "press e to open" text when interacting with doors. the text was persisting after the action was performed. This has been fixed. 

Decor: decoration sprites are coming along well. I am hoping they will be added soon. 

Sound: looking for royalty free samples for sound effects. Music would be a bonus too but if worse comes to worse I could at least create some in FL studio.
